Wedding trial can take place at any time in the lead up to the wedding. Most commonly around 3 months before the wedding. This will vary depending on availability mid-week or weekends.
There are a few things that will need to be organised before your makeup and hair trial.
You will need to know your wedding date and venue. It is also helpful to know how many members are in your wedding party. This can influence timings on the day and will help to get a timeline planned for the morning of. It will also help to create an accurate price quote. Please note 50% deposit is required on date of the trial to reserve your booking.
By the date of the trial, it is best that you have chosen your wedding outfit. Most brides have chosen their wedding dress and begun shopping for accessories. Knowing the style of dress can influence the choice of hair up or down. Accessories such as a veil, headband/vine or earrings can also influence the style of hair.
Having reference images can be helpful but please remember hair length, textures and even colour can influence the final design/look. Hair extension may also be required for thickness.
Make-up images online are often filtered but can be useful to get an idea of techniques and colours to try during the trial.
Please don’t be afraid to ask lots of question and give feedback during the trial. It is important you are happy with the plan at the end of the trial.
